Every figure on this site comes from official U.S. government sources, including the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the Census Bureau, HUD, the Bureau of Economic Analysis and O*NET. We don't use surveys from job boards or self-reported salaries. See how we calculate for the details and the data year behind each number.
